How do ou all know which rockbox version to download? I have the Ipod 30 Gig, if you can help me out with the download direct links I would be most greatful.

off topic too does rock box really make it complete accessible? and also can you put music u already have in your computer in to your ipod with eye tunes?
You don't use iTunes to put music in rockbox. Youd o it wwith windows explorer. You make a folder and you put the mp3/oggs you want in there, it doesn't play itunes format. Hope this helps. Oh, also, I think there's a way to convert an itunes database to make it work with rockbox, I'm not sure. Btw, rockbox can play mpg videos too without needing to convert them or anything.
Rockbox is shit, once again they cornered the blind market by giving a scant model selection not giving a care if the Nano was supported. So because of them, I can't use my dad's wonderful christmas gift he bought me, but rest easy programmers. Rest in the knowledge you helped a few poor pathetic blind people, and don't care about expanding your resources. Am i sying it's easy? absolutely not, but try at least looking at ok the nano's on their second gen, get someone who's willing to beta for us. I would've, now they can go fuck themselves with rusty pricks and condoms with holes in them.

shiv, you can use your i pod easily without rock box. i have the thirty gig and have been using it for months now with no help other than x play. so yeah, it's doable. !
well this is a second gen nano which I'd love to use, it's all packed up and the other name I can't spell, no I'm sorry I didn't mean to say yo're pathetc I mean the programmers who give o thought to the whole cross section of the community, it's also my oppinion about cell phones accessibility which is why I won't install talx or anything of that. check out imy instructions at the rockbox topic in accessible electronics. the 1st gen nano is supported. its the 2nd gen that isnt. and i want a 30 g ipod vid cause those thinsgs are cool and ive filled my 4 gig nano
